After spending hours getting ready for that very special date, you discover that your hemline is still hanging onto you. The frustration and the helplessness can be understood well at this point. Avoid these kinds of situation with a few simple steps. Once you buy an outfit, make sure it fits well. Buy a fashion tape to fix the loose hemlines and plunging necklines in your old clothes. Use a clear antiperspirant to avoid white mucks on garments. If you are planning to wear something lacy or semi-transparent, choose well-fitting skin colored inner wear. Learn to carry yourself well. Do not slouch and walk tall so that the apparel drapes you nicely.

Acne in Adults

A lot of grown-ups complain of developing acne; even when you did not have acne problems in teenage you can suddenly have pimples in your late 20’s or 30’s. Acne is a typical adolescence symptom as it starts during puberty. Hormonal changes increase the sebum secretion and lead to clogged skin pores and hair follicles. This is the main cause of acne. Acne problems disappear as one attains adulthood.

However, sometimes acne continues to trouble in your late 20’s as well. This is a severe form of acne and there are many reasons for this. Diet, cosmetics, skin care, lifestyle etc. are reported to be the major causes of acne in adults.

If you did not have acne blemishes as a teenager and suddenly having blemishes now, you should consult a skin doctor. Hormonal activities, your diet, skin care regimen – all should be reviewed properly.

Females sometimes suffer from a specific type of acne which is associated with menstrual cycle. Ovarian cysts, pregnancy, certain medication can result in pimples in females. You need to consult a physician if common acne treatments fail to cure the blemishes in adults.

It is also advised to continue the basic skin care regimen which includes cleansing, moisturising and regular exfoliation. Special attention should be given to the cleanser and moisturizer you use; the products must match your skin type. You should also use sunscreens while going out in the sun. Exfoliation is good for skin rejuvenation.
